Impaired Driving has remained one of our focuses since the creation of the Safe Communities Foundation. We work alongside the OPP and our community Policing partners upon request to conduct RIDE programs in the community.
Distracted Driving & The Move-Over Law
A number of changes have occurred in Ontario this year with regards to rules of the road such as the creation of new legislation for distracted driving and the implementation of the ‘Move-Over Law’.
Community Safety Partners is working in conjunction with our EMS partners to do a needs assessment to find out what the next steps are in keeping our roads safer.
